With the Super Bowl just days away, online sportsbook operators are out there competing for new customers who might be interested in betting on the big game. It makes sense that the best way to draw new customers would be to give them extra value for coming aboard. That is exactly what DraftKings is proposing to do with its current Welcome Bonus offer. The following terms and conditions are being used to govern this promotion.
This current version of the DraftKings Welcome Bonus offer in West Virginia was created with the Super Bowl lead-up in mind. The offer started for registered customers on January 8, 2024 (the start of the NFL playoffs), with an expiration date of February 11, 2024, the day of Super Bowl LVIII. To complete the DraftKings registration process, new customers must reside in West Virginia and be able to prove they meet the minimum online gambling age requirement of 21 years old.
To claim the available Welcome Bonus, new customers must make a deposit of $5 or more. They must follow that up by making a qualifying bet of $5 or more. The qualifying bet can be placed on any available sports event with no regard for an odds requirement.
Once qualifying bets have been accepted, new customers will be rewarded with $200 in bonus bet tokens. The $200 will be divided into eight (8) equal parts with each bonus bet token being worth $25. Each token will have an expiration date that is set seven (7) days out from the date of receipt. After the expiration date, the tokens will be removed. If winning bets are made in time with bonus bet tokens, the NET WINNINGS will be deposited as cash in the appropriate new customer's wagering account. As is always the cash, all cash balances can be withdrawn as the customer sees fit.
This Welcome Bonus offer will stand as is unless DraftKings management decides it wants to terminate the offer or adjust the terms and conditions. The operator will also serve as the final word on any disputes that might arise between the operator and customers.
